Tutoring

Academic Success, Incorporated, tutors assist our students in developing effective organizational and study skills to manage the content and information flow associated with college course work.In addition, students are coached in strategies to promote independent thinking and learning.
Our tutors are either graduate students at the University of Florida who are studying the content area in which they tutor or Santa Fe College instructors who also teach the subject. Due to the conflict of interests, the students are not placed in our tutors' courses at Santa Fe College.
The Director of Guidance regularly meets with program participants to help them gain more accurate and effective self-assessment, communication, and self-advocacy skills. The Director of Guidance designs an appropriate plan of courses that will enable the student to accomplish his or her academic goals. The Director also considers what the future academic institutions require for admissions and transfer, along with the student's chosen career path.
"I know the price of success: dedication, hard work, and an unremitting devotion to the things you want to see happen."
