Social Activities
Academic Success encourages out students to be involved in the many social and educational activities and groups that are provided through our program or at Santa Fe College. Students have an active and rewarding social life at Academic Success, Incorporated, experiencing many opportunities for fun and involvement. Our goal is to provide guided, social integration into the community.
Along with Santa Fe College's many clubs, sporting, and cultural events, Gainesville and the surrounding area provide a myriad of recreational and enriching activities. Students can enjoy over thirteen museums and galleries, Santa Fe College's planetarium, The Hippodrome State Theater, historical sites, and a beautiful Performing Arts Center. Students also have opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, and sightseeing on the local rivers, fresh-water springs, and lakes. The Academic Success team facilitates weekend social events, such as brunches movie nights, theater nights, picnics, bowling, and rock climbing.
